A Classic American Patchwork
Some patterns are made to stand alone. Others are even better together.
For Spoonflower’s patchwork design contest, we created Arcade Quilt, bringing together patterns from our Arcade Flora Collection and the Parade & Garden colorway of our American Classic Collection. The result combines the architectural character of classic New York with the colors and patterns of early American style—a meeting of two design traditions that feels right at home at LEEP Pattern House.
Patchwork is about bringing individual pieces together to create a cohesive whole, and the inspiration for Arcade Quilt begins with that very idea. Arcade Flora draws on the architectural terra-cotta of a classic New York City building, where individual molded units are assembled into decorative water tables. These small architectural elements combine to form a larger pattern, much as individual fabrics and motifs come together in a patchwork quilt. By pairing Arcade Flora with American Classic, we bring this distinctly New York architectural detail into conversation with the patterns and palette of early America.
The American Classic Collection was developed in recognition of the 250th anniversary of American independence, drawing on the colors and motifs of our nation’s design heritage. For Arcade Quilt, Parade & Garden brings together green, blue, and white in a fresh interpretation of early American style.
And the pattern doesn't stop there. We’re bringing Arcade Quilt to life in the two other American Classic colorways, Flags & Emblems and Beacon & Bay. Three palettes offer three different ways to bring the design into your home.
At LEEP Pattern House, we believe classic design should offer room to play. Our collections are developed with complementary patterns and colorways that make mixing and matching feel natural—a stripe alongside a botanical, architectural motifs with a coordinating geometric, or a favorite pattern in a new palette. Traditional design, modern style, and plenty of possibilities.

We’re continuing to grow the Pattern House with more patterns, complementary colorways, and new ways to mix and match—making it easier to create interiors that feel collected, coordinated, and entirely your own. As LEEP Pattern House evolves, we’re also exploring new opportunities to bring our designs to life through licensing and collaborations.
